Beaufort House - Directions

Directions To reach us from Killarney take the N72 (marked as R562 on older maps) (Ring of Kerry) west towards Killorglin. 5 miles out of Killarney there is a petrol station on your right and a stone bridge on your left. Cross the bridge and the gates of Beaufort House are immediately on your left as you come off the bridge. Click here for local map.

AIRPORTS

Kerry/Farranfore: Kerry airport is only 20 minutes from Beaufort. It has direct flights from Stanstead, north of London, and Dublin, both flights taking about an hour. There are also charter flights from Europe and The U.S in summer. It has full car hire facilities including Europcar (064 31237) and Hertz (066 9764733).

Kerry airport turn left out of the airport to the village of Farranfore and then turn left on to the main road to Killarney. For directions from Killarney see above. Click here for large map.

Shannnon Airport take the N18 towards Limerick. At Limerick follow signs for the N20(Cork) and N21 (Tralee), About 5 miles (8km) south of Limerick the road forks - take the right hand fork towards Tralee/ Killarney. Cork airport follow the signs for the city centre. At the bottom of the hill turn left on to the Southern Ring Road towards Tralee/Killarney.Take the N22 to Killarney. For directions from Killarney see above. Journey time is about 90 minutes. Click here for large map

FERRYPORTS

Cork from Ringaskiddy Ferry Terminal take the road to Cork and then the N22 to Killarney. For directions from Killarney see above. Journey time is about 90 minutes. Click here for large map

Rosslare Harbour take the N25 via New Ross, Waterford (there is a drive-through McDonalds on the left as you leave Waterford), Dungarvan and Youghal to Cork . On the outskirts of Cork follow the Southern Ring Road signs for the N22 to Killarney. For directions from Killarney see above. Total journey time is about 4 hours. Click here for large map

Dublin take the N7 to Limerick. From the outskirts of Limerick take the N20 towards Cork and Tralee. About 3 miles outside Limerick take the N21 towards Tralee. At Castleisland take the N23 to Farranfore and then the N22 towards Killarney. Journey time is about 5 hours. A more attractive route is to take the Abbeleix road from Port Laois and come via the spectacular Rock of Cashel, Mitchelstown, Fermoy and Mallow to Killarney.
